No wonder the map of Nigeria looks so small at the bottom. The people of South Western Cameroon made a terrible mistake joining the French speaking people..

if the only barrier to peace is learning both english and french why not just teach both in school and use both as primary mode of instruction after 1 generation this problem will disappear.

Washington Post, the title of your video is very misleading. You could do better checking the historical facts involved and is more than a linguistic divide definitely.

My brother got shot to dead in January 2019 by military that he is an amba boy without investigation, that's how villain they have become, France should leave Africa alone, they should stop killing us, the UN is not helping matters at all, stealing money from aid to feed refugees instead of stopping the cause of people becoming refugees. God is watching

The title is wrong already in stating that the country is divided into 2 languages. Language is one of the issues. The issue is governance, marginalisation and lack of democracy. Paul biya behaves like a tribe chief. His tribe controls everything and behaves like colonists in other parts of the country.

Africans should on one hand have the right to draw their own map of the continent and each people group should have their destinies in their own hands, but on the other hand there has to be peace and stability, not more complete chaos and war in the future…

I had to leave my home and go live somewhere else because of what the military is doing in my area. These people are heartless and when I hear or see any dead military officer or soldier, it makes me happy. This is not something I’d normally do but what they’ve done to my friends and family, I can’t forgive them even if they’re just following orders. You can’t justify killing innocent people, NEVER! The government took the first shot, and if they continue to shoot so will the Amba boys. I really wish they gave you guys a chance… Read more »
