China declares a 'war' on plastic pollution

China is striving to reduce the use of non-biodegradable plastic products by updating a plastic industry regulation, 12 years after restrictions were first imposed on plastic bags. Social awareness on plastic pollution has significantly increased in recent years, and China has laid out three major goals for battling plastic pollution in the near future. So what will be done to make China’s vision of environmental protection a reality? How will a ban on single-use plastic bags reshape behavior? And how can experience-sharing among countries advance the global campaign against plastic pollution?

They can't even control what their people eat like dogs, cats, bats, rats, raccoons, porcupines, civet cats, other wild game. NOW with the coronavirus looming. China talks a lot but not much changes. Watch this
https://youtu.be/GEARtTBHXEw
Shows how much progress they made with the civet cat!
Plus they cover everything up all the time. Talk is cheap!

Best practices should be adopted no matter we are in which part of the world. Globalized knowledge sharing is more valuable than protectionism.

There's an Indian troll originating from either Malaysia or Singapore but now living illegally in Australia. This is his real name and photo guys. He has well over 20 IDs to spread his BS about China all day, you can find him in almost every CGTN video. Remember, all anti-China comments are from this single Indian! Do not reply to him, his objective is to mock you and provoke you to reply. Be smart, ignore this SOB

Wait until 2050 to begin Ocean clean up (America) I see by that time lot's of money could be made but, will Ocean life survive….honestly, I don't think Ocean life macro/micro, would survive such a late date for serious commencement, it is time for the EPA and other such Agencies to do their job!…I think this has more to do with industrial pollution then plastics, while at the moment, China is leading the way with innovations and structures that work!, China is not in the pollution business, China is working toward "The cleaner environment business, thank God someone is.

Good job China! You have my respect. I always stressed that Plastic is a much direct and bigger threat to human than climate change.

China will lead the world if it can do good like this. Good job I am now more of a fan of their collectivist culture than I was. with no divide, they can do anything.
