Let’s play the campaign in Cold Waters, a Cold War-era submarine combat simulation game by Killerfish. We’ll play through a modern conflict between the U.S. and China in the year 2000 in the world’s elite submarine: the Seawolf class (depicted in thumbnail).

Cold Waters on Steam:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/541210/Cold_Waters/

Inspired by the 1988 classic “Red Storm Rising”, command a nuclear submarine in a desperate attempt to prevent “mutually assured destruction” when the Cold War gets hot and WWIII begins.

You will be tasked with intercepting convoys, amphibious landings, insertion missions and battling it out with enemy warships, submarines and aircraft. Thankfully, an arsenal of wire-guided torpedoes, anti-ship and cruise missiles and the occasional SEAL team are on board to keep the Iron Curtain at bay.

TortugaPower 133 would be your starboard abaft the beam, not port where the blue whale was. Remember, 90 is directly off the starboard beam and 180 is directly behind you. That would make 133 almost perfectly between those 2 points. EDIT: That's assuming vector based on orientation of the ship, not the compass. I realized after posting this that the game must be using compass bearings.

Me, captin of any ship: what a wonderful day it is today
My boss: we have info that a warship group is heading to the south China sea, you have permission to fire at will.
Me: ooooooooo, what's this, a nuclear balistic missile. I hope it isn't going for the south China sea, hehehe.

You're sort of correct about 1914 feet being the bottom most depth. It's the deepest modeled seafloor. There are parts out in the open ocean that exceed 3000 feet of depth, which is the lowest that the display will… display.
If you hear the Atlantic Fleet groaning noises, the target has been killed.

You're lucky you can't find other American submarines, because finding something so stealthy could have meant it was a friendly!
