The Paris Accord is for suckers.

This is fake news! Americans don't want that rubbish deal!

If they read it. Realised its voluntary not mandatory. Then realised its useless.

Edit: google the agreement, theres no way of enforcing anything.

In the Paris Agreement, each country determines, plans and regularly reports its own contribution it should make in order to mitigate global warming. There is no mechanism to force a country to set a specific target by a specific date, but each target should go beyond previously set targets.

Maybe if they spent their time, money, and influence to create renewable energy like solar plants then they might have a talking point but this is just more handshakes and photo ops which allow for policy makers to introduce themselves into the game. Maybe if they endorsed recycling industry and byproduct manufacturing economics, they could actually make more money for the cause, instead of spending it on publicity pandering like this. I could build a recycling plant for the amount of money and footwork they spent on pushing this "pledge"

No we dont.
