Sorry for the delay in posting but I had some issues this weekend with my phone and I talk about it in this episode plus I wanted to include Solus so I needed a bit more time. Anyway, it's ready and I hope you all enjoy the show! 😀 Segment Index: (mobile-friendly version)Show Notes – https://tuxdigital.com/twinl5900:52 = Sponsored by Digital Ocean ( https://do.co/tux )01:55 = GNOME 3.32 released07:36 = Sway 1.0 Released10:17 = Solus 4 Fortitude Released13:07 = Mozilla Announces Their Firefox Send Service16:20 = Audacity 2.3.1 Released19:10 = Ubuntu Touch OTA-8 Released22:38 = SouthEast Linux Fest (SELF 2019)24:12 =… Read more »

I already had Audacity 2.3.1 working on Ubuntu. It was a snap package, but its always better to have an official version. Secondly, I also already used "File Send services with temporary autodelete". But I trust Mozilla more than any other doing this service and will switch to Firefox Send. Great to see that.

Last time I tried Solus, it wouldn't boot after I setup a dual boot with Ubuntu Unity 19.04. Any idea if its fixed?

I'm not a great fan of Gnome but I do like the new fractional scaling and additional permissions ideas. May have to have a look at it.

Basically the Linux Foundation are primarily saying is if you are not paying in you don't care about you free software tree hugging bums. Go back under your rock you dirty trolls

Mistake in Lakka segment!
Lakka works fine on even the oldest Raspberry Pi, including Pi0.
However Nintendo64 emulation sucks on even the most powerful Pi3B+ with an overclock.
N64 is technically working, even since Pi2, but playable is stretching it.

I like that you have this channel, the world needs good Linux related videos. However, and please don't take this wrong, could you please articulate better and a bit slow down with talking (reading)? On a more human-centric way perhaps.

In knoppix, the K is silent, like in knife. So it is noppix. Thre is a thread on the knoppix forums that discusses this and pretty much everyone says it with out the K sound. 🙂

Yay! Congratulations on the pronunciation of Knoppix! (y) It originates from German, as you said (and is my neighbor country).
It was one of the first Linux CD's I frequently downloaded, before I even considered installing it on my HDD. (Talking about before 2003.) Very revolutionary back then, because you could run an OS from a CD. (Nowadays it's common practice.) And even back then, it never failed. Worked like German craftsmanship!

Lots of interesting news this week! Looking forward to this one.

Additionally, I think you should light your face in future videos. Your screen is really bright and you've got a little Blue Man Group going on usually.
