It's true, Rosenslime was set to leave before McCabe threw him under the bus. McCabe's interview is merely what gets Rosenslime doing time…

What about water? It's the SAME water FOREVER. The planet doesn't get a new water supply every so often. How many times a day do you urinate? How many times a day does EVERY living creature on the planet urinate?

The containers could have exposed adults to 400 times the health limit, and for children, up to 4,000 times what is considered safe. CBS online story.

uranium rocks don't give off this type of exposure…..naturally occuring uranium ore doesn't even give off that much exposure

Scare tactics. Negligible amount of radiation from a bucket full of Uranium ore.

Radiation is cumulative so the one time tourist has nothing to worry about. It's all about the workers exposed everday.

This story, like all others written about this, conflate surface dose with experienced exposure. Perhaps at surface, the bucket or uranium would be 400x allowable (and that's likely in terms of whole body dose, which is impossible from a surface exposure like this. Extremities are allowed much higher doses). However, at any reasonable distance, the dose would be minimal. There are old Fiestaware plates and granite counter tops giving lots of folks more dose than this on a daily basis, but we should definitely just inflate this as much as possible for the sake of views.

A bunch of hupla. Uranium ore is basically harmless. The kind of radiation it emits is virtually harmless unless ingested or if one was stupid enough to carry it around in one's pocket for 20 years straight.
