Great video Joey – would of been useful to get some insight into how your spending figures relate to your income and how much you could typically save at that rate. Like what is a reasonable/good percentage of monthly salary to realistically put away per month – That's what Im always paro about when trying to ascertain if current my standard of living/spending is at all sustainable!…..accepted its probs too personal to delve into in a video and metaphorically bend over for the taxman…..

You're a "Jones" Mr Delaney waves fist but seriously this a great video and no doubt it'll help a whole load of people who watch your videos which is great. If for whatever reason anyone reads this comment, I would like to say 1 thing, it is that saving money can become increasingly addictive and like all addictions it can give you problems, which sounds crazy right? Saving all the lizzie paper, however it can come at a cost of turning down opportunities to do things because "can't afford it mate" and those times can add up and cause personal… Read more »

Great video Joe. I really like the fact you cover a range of topics. Yes, it's definitely more economical to do a fewer big shops. If you do loads of little ones then each time you'll pick up extra bits in addition to the things you actually need. The best, if rather boring, way to save money on shopping is to work out your meals for the week (or weeks), then use that to make a shopping list of ingredients. Then go and buy ONLY what is on the list. Even if you grab a couple of extras you're only… Read more »

Great post 👍🏼 I used to have Gousto meals. You get 4x meals for two, so effectively 8 meals and it cost £25. I never paid full price because I’d do referrals a lot. Anyway.. having had many over a period.. I chose my 10 favourite recipes and bought the ingredients to feed 3 people using the Tesco online (other retailers available). It cost me £64!! Essentially I bought 30 meals for £64!! That’s incredible I thought. And they’re proper nice meals. Suitable for meal prepping too if you want to batch cook. I bet if I’d shopped at Lidl… Read more »

Joe,
Keep up the great work! People are not taught responsibility, especially when it comes to financial issues. I found your post very mindful. It's appropriate to remind people to think about their finances right here at the holidays.
Enjoy your videos.

good video,
i have been thinking why am i paying for amazon prime and not watching any of the videos etc.. i never used to worry about waiting 3 days for my parcel lol.
i think most people like myself try the offer as it seems good at the time but then never really think about if they really need it as they are not actually using it for the reason they joined, and just do not cancel it as we may use it more next week.

Does your business, being a personal trainer and being an online personality not allow you certain tax breaks for a proportion of your living expenses. Aka rent. Especially if you do your admin work at home you can subsidize this from your business expenses.

I'm an accountant so I would definitely look into this 🙂
