Iran’s ambassador to Japan has broken his silence about the COVID-19 situation in his country. Iran has more than 27,000 cases, with at least 2,000 deaths. However, some experts believe those numbers do not tell the true picture. Mr Morteza Rahmani Movahed said testing facilities in Iran have increased, and 38 million are being tested for the coronavirus. He also added that the flow of medical equipment and medicine in Iran has been disrupted by US sanctions.
