Yes trump is to blame. You can draw a straight line from him getting out of the iran deal to this. It all leads up to this. Keep telling the truth Brendan.👍

This is what malignant narcissists do when their back is against the wall. To him, this is not immoral: it is right. His entire party has Stockholm Syndrome.

Why do you say "we dropped an airstrike" ? Were you involved in the decision-making that went into dropping the airstrike? You're NOT part of the club. Don't let the language you use deceive you.

Of course he is. If Obama was president they would blame him.

I think this situation is just a piece of something much bigger than Donald Trump. A CIA retiree once told me that there is always a story behind the official story. We’re fed a constant disinformation campaign regarding our foreign defense agenda and nobody wants to tell us what the endgame is. What are we doing over there?! There’s always some new boogeyman out to get us. The narrative this past year has been all about these so-called “Iranian-backed forces”. Why is our country so hellbent on provoking a war with Iran, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about… Read more »

Remember when the Iraqis were going to allow non-US firms to get their oil from ground to market, and Bush lied about the WMD's and then destroyed the whole country? Remember that!?! So why on earth are we still there with five thousand officially US troops and maybe as many "contractors"? Well, they killed one of our people who shouldn't have been there, so we killed who knows how many of theirs? Would there be a problem if the USA was not there?

Yes, Trump triggered this. He does not care about anyone but himself or think carefully or broadly about any decision he makes.

He could simply do exactly the same thing targeting the Iranian Embassy or one of its consulates. Yet, he forgot that the Iranian affiliated militias have been integrated with the Iraqi forces, which is why it’s taken as a strike on Iraqis more than Iran itself. No need to mention that the few of Iraqi political poles, like Qais Alkhazaali and Hadi Alameri, who are extremely loyal to Iran, led this march against the Embassy in Iraq. The Iranian affiliation needs to be rid off. Hundreds of anti-Iraqi-Government-protestors were killed by these same militias who attacked the Embassy. It’s another… Read more »

Iran proxies can't just fire missiles at American soldiers if you let them get away they're going to fire another one United States has to send a message and a clear message it's not going to be tolerated I think United States did the right thing there's always collateral damage so be it

Scary that our embassy, which is shared with the UN embassy is in danger. These wars in the middle East have been going for 30 plus years! Yes, the Orange Yeti is responsible! And no, he doesn't care. He doesn't know how to.

REFLECT ON THIS: we supported saddam for 9 years in his war against Iran. For 30 years He was the only one who could control the majority Shiite in the country. We knew about his plans before invading Kuwait. We supported him in his case in United nation a against Kuwait because of oil fields,we still gave him the green light to invade Kuwait. But the plan came from Israel that wanted him out for supporting Palestinians martyrs family 25k . Then you know the rest he did we turned on him. We lied to the mob al saud king… Read more »

It's more SNAFU than FUBAR, so FIDO. 🙂Seriously, though, this whole mess is just disgusting to me and many of my fellow vets. We have no reason to be there. They don't want us there. Even the Iraqi government that we bought and paid for doesn't want us there. But we've been there for 16 years and counting with no sign of removing our occupying forces.Add to that, I have Zero sympathy for a "Contractor" over there. I refuse to use the term in any semblance of seriousness. They're literally Mercenaries and not "Contractors". A Contractor hangs drywall, and things… Read more »

TRUMP is DANGEROUS and UNPREDICTABLE after having been impeached by the house.
He needs the biggest distraction in his life atm to divert things away from his impeachment trial….hes cornered like a wounded animal and needs the attention drawn away from his impeachment trial…if it means killing innocent lives and causing chaos in the Iraqi region to achieve that…HE WILL GLADLY DO THAT.

Yes Trump is responsible. This all started with Bush/Iraq and Trump cancelling Obama Iranian deal. Cons are our enemy.
