Multi Restaurant Saas App Backend Installation and Setup Guide

Today we are going to talk about, How to install and setup our Multi Restaurant Saas app backend.

System Requirement for this Project:

Nodejs and NPM: If you don’t have then download from here

Visual Studio Code Editor: If you don’t have then download from here as per your system requirement.

Python: If you don’t have installed Python then you can download as per your system requirement form here

Angular CLI: If you haven’t installed then check out the documentation at

Or You can follow below command after installation of Nodejs, Just open your command try below command:

$ npm install -g @angular/cli //Install Angular CLI

Once you are done with all installation and setup as per video then now cross-check, whether you installed correctly or not. To do this follow the below command.

First, open your command prompt:

$ npm -v // to check NPM installation and version
$ node -v //to check node installation and version.
$ python -v //to check python installation and version.
$ ng -v //to check Angular CLI installation and version.

Once you have to install node and npm then we have to install Angular CLI $ npm install -g @angular/cli .

Now open the project file in Visual Studio code and open terminal and follow the below command:
$ npm install
$ ionic serve
$ ionic serve –lab

How to run Node JS API?
$ npm install //Install NPM dependencies
$ gulp serve //start your web server

It opens in browser window whenever you are running if you face this error gulp serve[7368]: Assertion `args[1] IsString()’ failed. you have to run the below command:

$ npm install natives then run
$ gulp serve

And change the url at client folder – swagger.json file – index.html to your current host server.

How to Run in a Web browser?
Open a terminal in your Visual Studio Code and follow below command:

$ npm install //install NodeJS dependencies
$ ng serve //start-server
$ ng build –prod //Build Production

Now API Configuration and Database:

Got to MongoDB atlas at
and sign in with your credentials then create a cluster Once the cluster gets created click on the Database on the left-hand side, it navigates to the window where you can create a user mentions the name and create a password then click on Add user.
