Today we remember 9-11. Also, Vox suggests lowering the voting age to zero. I’ll explain why conservatives should actually support that idea for entirely self-serving reasons. Also, a London zoo has the first “genderless” penguin.

Only Christian land-owning married men above age 45 who have had at least four children and do not receive any sort of welfare should be allowed to vote.
If you have started a business that employs ten people full time or have served in the military, your vote counts double.

It will mean even more to you in 30 years … You're intelligent, so you will continue to study history and it's effects on the days you'll be living in. I was born after WWII, and it was hard to really get a grip on until I passed 40. You'll be less impressed with the OJ event, as It truly only affected a select group of people; whereas, 9/11 is still affecting us all! And, another thing, criticism of our President is certainly allowed; just do it respectfully in deferrence to the office. And I disagree with you on Bolton;… Read more »

If we eliminate the voting age ..then perhaps we should make it possible for children to run for office.

A voter “competency test” would disqualify 85% of voters. Voters should be tax paying citizens.

Children vote opposite to their parents if they sufficiently brainwashed in school, as it is done in totalitarian countries. Lowering voting age gives unlimited power to a party or a group that controls educational institutions, such as public schools.

Hey Matt. I am a marine biologist (B.Sc. University of Alberta, specialization at Bamfield marine sciences centre – contributed work in invasive species studies – green crab – and predator/prey invertebrate relationships). I can tell you – the gender neutral penguin news? Bullshit. Males and females of many different species will mount each other, but this is purely dominance displays and establishment of hierarchies. There have been cases in amphibians where genetalia is not properly or fully developed, and some call those animals "intersex" or evidence of "trans" in the animal community. But it is rather because amphibians use cutaneous… Read more »

Yeah, Trump often seems nuts, but just look at the "progressive" left these days….
He's definitely the lesser of the evils IMHO.

Okay. I was thinking like to 15-16 ish range, while introducing a transition period from there to 18 with increasing legal freedom while in the safety of the family home. Reason: to protect new 18yo from selfish, narccisist parents(I'm not saying all. I'm just saying some that definitively exist.) who stole their kid's salaries only to kick them out at 18 sharp, not even a birthday party, because that is technically legal and puts them in a situation where they are in immediate danger of homeless without any support system.(I'm not talking about me; I'm talking about others.) Furthermore, the… Read more »

Dude, the Berlin Wall fell in '89, then there was NASA's "Return to Space," which I suppose could be seen as a mixed event, but if you want major events in the news, look at some of the SpaceX launches, which one was it that had everyone cheering? And not just propulsive landings, but propulsive landings on a barge at sea. We don't really look at some of those things as that big of an event because we've got Challenger and Colombia in our histories, but the Millennials don't, so those ARE the big things for them. For a lot… Read more »

I think there should be one exception but otherwise 18
-If you are in the Military, if you are mature enough to be sent to war to kill or be killed you are mature enough to vote for the person sending you there.

It seems that you and just like all your other daily wire your too gullible. look past and into what truly might be going on not just on the surface. that I know any better but there seems to be a lot more going on. then hiring and firing of a nihilistic neocon that everyone knew would do exactly what he just did go against the president on any type of pullouts and try to force them into more interventionist Wars .

I was 10. Mrs. Ray's 4th grade class. I had just finished the war of 1812 section in my American history book (reading ahead as always) and I remember seriously thinking it must be the British. I may have even said it out loud.

As far as questioning science… didn't Galileo debunk Aristotle's long-standing, established "scientific facts" about the solar system? It's important that we not brush aside any data just because it doesn't line up with how we currently understand science, or how we have explained data in the past. That information could have been falsely explained, based on the technology we had available at the time.

Macroevolution is not an established scientific fact like gravity.
If I want to prove gravity, I need only an object and your attention.
If you want to prove my cousin is a banana and my ancestor was pond scum, you’d need Dr. Brown or The Doctor or Dr. Pym.

The problem Walsh has is he places “science” on a higher authority than Scripture.
If science and Scripture conflict, science must be right and Scripture must be reinterpreted to fit the science instead of Scripture be right and science reinterpreted to fit the Scripture.

I feel sorry for the atheist who is returning to Christ, but finds a stumbling block in Genesis.
So sure that macroevolution is a fact that he can’t conceive that that too was a lie.

On the idea that evolution is science: “Evolution is not a fact. Evolution doesn’t even qualify as a theory or as a hypothesis. It in a metaphysical research program, and it is not really testable science” Karl Popper “I suppose the reason why we leapt at the Origin of Species was that the idea of God interfered with our sexual mores.” Julian Huxley “Evolution is promoted by its practitioners as more than mere science. Evolution is promulgated as an ideology, as secular religion—a full-fledged alternative to Christianity, with meaning and morality. I am an ardent evolutionist and an ex-Christian, but… Read more »

to the lad who asked about science and religion, i would recommend a book called "in 6 days" its written by head scientists of varying fields who provide arguments to support the creation theory using science, in addition i would recommend listening to Chuck Missler's take on Genesis
