Bamboo Shish Kabob skewer stick
Floral Tape or Packaging Tape

Blue Spring Flower
With green cotton thread, chain 5, sl st in first ch to join, ch 1, 5 sc in ring crocheting over tail, you now will be crocheting in a round, sc in each sc around and around until measuring 5 inches or desired length. Fasten off.

Blue Flower:
Round 1: With color for center of flower, start in any stitch around the top of stem. Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around stem, join with sl st to first sc. (10 sc) TURN.

Round 2: working in front loop only, * sl st in next front loop, ch 7 *, repeat between * to * around. Fasten off. (10 Loops)

Round 3: With color for outer petals of flower, working in back loop only, join in back loop of any sc in round 1, ch 1, 2 sc in same st, 2 sc in each st around, join with sl st to first sc. (20 sc)

Round 4: Ch 1, * (1 hdc,2 dc, 2 tr) in next st, (2 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc) in next st, sl st into next st *, repeat from * to * around, join with sl st to first st to join. Fasten off. (6 Petals)

Insert a bamboo Shish Kabob skewer stick into stem and flower to stand firm in a vase then insert lollipop in center of flower. Use floral tape or packaging tape around the bottom of stem to secure and hold onto the wooden stick. Insert into your favorite vase! BEAUTIFUL! I can see it now. The first casualty of these flowers will be the lollipops (in my house at least ). Good thing they will look good without them bc I suspect the lollipops will never make it to the flower. Ahahahaha
