President Donald Trump suggested during his State of the Union address that his border wall proposal would “end the crisis” at the southern U.S. border. “This is a smart, strategic, see-through steel barrier — not just a simple concrete wall,” he said. The president said his administration’s current proposal would also enable a bigger law enforcement presence and drug detection capabilities at official ports of entry.
