So here is the take on this: Firstly when Mugabe needed to eradicate political opponents who supported him ? The very same military who is supposed to uphold the constitution according to this general is also the very same people who killed hundreds if not thousands who apposed Mugabe. Zimbabwe (Robert Mugabe) was a military controlled government pretending to be a democratic country and in their constitutional view if they don t like the successor its their duty to uphold it. When Mugabe killed black Zimbabweans who opposed his rule they helped and supported it (Hypocrisy as best) This take… Read more »

How many times is the west going to cheer on a coup? Sometimes the alternative is worse.

Why are the Brits and their African puppets/sell outs so possessed and obsessed with Robert Mugabe? I only wonder why not worry about your queen, hypocrites? Mugabe is going sooner or later, then what next? Another apartheid "Rhodesia" ruled by devilish and sinister dogs such as, Cecil Rhodes, Ian Smith, Harold Wilson, Tony Blair or it is David Cameron?
Be gone Satan, be gone…Why not leave Africa the heck alone!

ZIMBABWE SHOULD SERVE AS A SHINING EXEMPLAR FOR THE REST OF AFRICA. RATHER THAN KILLING EACH OTHER, THE MILITARY IS TRYING TO MEDIATE A PEACEFUL AGREEMENT AND RESOLUTION BETWEEN DISPUTING BROTHERS AND SISTERS. WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER, ONLY LOVE CAN CONQUER! LONG LIVE ZIMBABWE!!!

The Talk show Host states Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa "Has a bad record"… "A Bad Record"? Is a Matter of Opinion… From his Perspective? I guess it would seem like "A Bad Record"… Because it was His "Type" That Ruled Over The Peoples of Zimbabwe for Centuries as if the peoples of Zimbabwe we Animals.. Just because Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, did what needed to be done to Correct A Wrong that had Occurred FOR CENTURIES? DOES NOT SHOW A MAN WITH A BAD RECORD… But A Man Of GREAT CHARACTER.. The "Bad Record"? Was before President Mugabe… The talk… Read more »

This is an internal Zanu-PF issue. It has nothing to do with anyone other than Grace Mugabe's power grab. Mugabe is the democratically elected president of Zimbawe whether you like it or not. You can interview as many of your pro-Western black Zimbabwean puppets as you want but the people who have seized power are more pro-black than Mugabe himself. This has nothing to do with white people, although I do understand your ingrained need to put yourselves at the centre of historic and current events that you had/have nothing to do with.

Letting theWorld bank and the IMF to participate in restructuring Zimababwe would be a huge mistake. The developing world is in a mess because of these institutios. It would a recolonisation by western capital

Forcing out the White farmers and investors with outrageous demands for equity, thus kicking out the driving forces behind your economic power and food security, the government deserves whatever state it is in right now. It should be a lesson that a country should reward people based on merit, not race. If they want to correct inequality, there are ways without resorting to drastic measure. You could have programs to benefit Black Zimbabweans, higher tax bracket for the rich, allocate those resources to help create jobs and attract investment.

This was a very uncomfortable interview on all levels .. is it the interviewer?

Robert Mugabe i s 93 which is fine. How many other people in Zimbabwe live to that age. As a % of the population ? Maybe 2%. It,s time for him to go quietly and in a dignified manner. Financial stability in any country is the key to economic growth. ……:)

Why does the interviewer keep asking them if they will have a democracy. There is no true democracy in the world. A democracy is direct rule by the people, thus no huge government and no legislative branches. Europe does not have a democracy. Who decided that democracy is the desired government? Last Lion leader is gone.

What's going on? It's all happy and good. You're looking at this from an outsider's view where you see evil, dictatorship, and oppression. It's not that. It's the beauty of this African Nation governing itself and all of what's happening is just the natural order of things. Yeah, there will be mass killings, violence, and lots and lots of drama buts that's ok. They don't need European rule, apparently, and this is the government that the people choose and want.

Guys do not be so excited. Robert was once a liberator but look at him now. Pray for the next ruler so he should rule with the fear of God.

Nothing to see here. Just another example of the total failure of most African countries to govern themselves. The despot Mugabee will leave and a new despot will take his place, and Zimbabwe's people will continue to suffer at the hands of their own. All under the guise of the "revolution," not withstanding the 20,000 Nedebele's that Mugabee's 5th Brigade murdered with Britain's acquiescence. I wonder how many would prefer a return of the old Rhodesia.

I think the ideas of totalitarian government as told in George Orwell's novels and described in the movies Animal Farm and 1984 has been practiced by the Bishop Mugabe regime after communist influence in the country. Its probably taken hold of the African mind as Africans traditionally had systems of Chiefs whom the local population greatly honored. We see here that as the chief Mugabe is reaching illness in old age, the position is being inherited by his relative. Its a way of life of the Pharaohs of Egypt and Africa since ancient times, so its deeply rooted in the… Read more »

Bless you Zimbabwe. You have been screwed for so long. You were the bread basket of Africa and have become the basket case, not through the fault of the man in the street or the one toiling in the fields, but by a corrupt, greedy and despotic leadership, that spews fear, intimidation and rhetoric that passes blame of it's incompetence to everything else. I am just afraid that when one snakes head is removed, another will replace it, and you will be screwed again. Viva, amandla, peacock parades, kicking out whites etc will not fill your stomachs or advance your… Read more »

I hope they are enjoying their 90% unemployment, and having to sell their womans bodies to feed their kids, after they kicked the whites out of power. You reap what you sow! Just because Mugabe will be gone does not mean that things will get better for the ordinary people. They should hang the bastard!

Look enough is enough, the guy is so old by now he must be dealing with dementia and all sorts of health issues. He cannot be stable to dress himself let alone run the country. What is wrong with you Zimbabweans, you cannot allow this shit to carry on.

The so call "Crocodile" don't need to be the leader either. He was supporting the policies of Mugabe, so he is probably equally as corrupt. Zanu-pf must go too. The people need to be the one to chose the next leader by voting that person in.

I hope it is a bloodless coup, and a better future for the country.Mugabe has fleeced the nation, spending hundreds of millions of dollars on property around the world and luxury items for his family and cronies. All this whilst those not of Mugabe's tribe have no food to eat.Ask any Zimbabwean friends you may have what they think of him.Everyone not a crony of Mugabe is suffering.Foreign Aid doesn't get to the people who need it, as it is diverted and "sold" to the needy. The best way to help is to give money to Zimbabweans, who are not in Zimbabwe,… Read more »
