ICE are not allowed to go into jails to arrest illegal immigrants, so why not release them from jail? Ingenious idea, under the guise of early release for good behaviour.
Deportation is for violent or grave offences, but like the UK, the US government are deporting foreign nationals for minor drug offences.
The video I showed… I just got it!!! It’s the kids off school for 6weeks… Duhhh! Anyway, it inspired me to make this video.
There are a total of 181,00 federal inmates, 38% of which are allegedly black (13% of the whole 2.1m prison population). Out of the 3,100 who have been released, allegedly 900 are on detainers, so 650 will be deported, and the remainder 250 will go into federal custody – so why release them?? There is a missing piece of the puzzle, does someone know where it is??
The First Step Act allowed 3,100 federal inmates to be released from prison on Friday 19 July, the majority of them back into the community – why?
1) Someone to blame when they reoffend? 2) A cheaper way to deport? 3) Create a ruckus? 4) Easier to kill when they are on the streets?
Well a few have genuinely benefited from the programme, I am worried about the balance who may not have adequate rehabilitation programmes in place for those who have been locked up for so long, and have now been placed in a precarious position.
A third will be deported anyway!!
